FRIDAY, JANUARY 24 is a planned virtual day. WE WILL CHANGE THAT TO AN IN-BUILDING DAY FOR ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF
All extra-curricular activities will continue as scheduled.
YPS is keeping an eye on the bitterly cold forecast for early next week. As we all know, extremely cold temperatures can have an adverse reaction on many things such as buses, water lines, and safety. As a precaution, packets are being sent home with students today. If the packets are not needed, please return them with your students on Monday. We hope everyone has a safe and warm weekend.
The Yale Local Livestock Show is scheduled to take place at the Ferlan K. Dean Showbarn on February 8, beginning at 10 am. For more information please contact Mr. Fuss, mfuss@yale.k12.ok.us

Yale Public Schools is starting to make plans for the 2025-2026 school year. One of the steps in planning includes setting a calendar for the school year. YPS has put together two different options for the community to consider. Both calendars meet current state requirements for number of days and number of hours in class. We would like your feedback regarding these 2 calendar options. Please complete the brief survey: https://forms.gle/Bc6w4KkS5XFaCVL99

YPS is closely monitoring the possibility of inclement weather and how it could impact this afternoon and overnight hours. As a precaution, teachers will send home packets for the possibility of a virtual day tomorrow. If we are in school, students should bring the packets with them for completion during the school day. Students are also being prepared for accessing google meets with their teachers if a virtual day is needed tomorrow. The health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority. As always feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
1st semester report cards are going home with students today.

A big thank you to the Stillwater Rotary Club for their generous donation of food sacks for our Yale students! We are so grateful for your continued support—it truly makes a difference in the lives of our students.
Starting in January, these food sacks will be available at the end of every week to help ensure our students have the nourishment they need. We will also have food sacks available this Thursday before we let out for break.
If you need a food sack over the break, please contact Tammy Huff at thuff@yale.k12.ok.us, and she will make arrangements to meet you.
