Over the past several months, many questions have been raised regarding Yale Public Schools adding fastpitch softball. In an attempt to measure the interest level we will survey our 6th-11th grade female students this week. The survey will be very simple and direct. Students will be asked to choose one of the following: I’d like to play fastpitch softball, I’d like to play volleyball, or I have no interest in playing softball or volleyball. Yale High School will host a Veteran’s Day Assembly on Friday, November 10th at 12:00 in the Old Gym. Any and all local veterans are welcome to attend. After the Veteran’s Day Assembly, there will be a pep assembly for the HS football team. The community is welcome to come help us honor our veterans and stay to encourage our band, cheerleaders, players, and coaches.

YPS plans to have school tomorrow for all students PK-12th grade.
The 8th grade Outsiders Field Trip for Tuesday, Nov. 24th has been cancelled.
The Yale JH/HS site is still having a sewage issue. Therefore students in grades 6-12 will have a virtual day on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Students in grades PK-5 will have a normal school day. 5th grade will start their day at the elementary. Buses will run as normal. JH/HS staff will be in building, so feel free to reach out with any questions that you might have for them.
8th Grade Field Trip Reminder!!!
Bring your permission slip and $10.00 for the Outdsiders field trip tomorrow, 10/24/2023.
The Yale JH/HS site is having a sewage issue fixed on Sunday and Monday. Therefore students in grades 6-12 will have a virtual day on Monday. Students in grades PK-5 will have a normal school day. 5th grade will start their day on Monday at the elementary for Rise and Shine. Buses will run as normal. JH/HS staff will be in building, so feel free to reach out with any questions that you might have for them. 5/6th grade basketball will follow their schedule and leave for Ripley at 4:20 from the Old Gym. Don’t forget your uniform!!
Due to issues with the sewage lines, Friday, October 20 will be a virtual day for the district. The football game vs. Regent Prep will be played as planned. Kickoff at 7:00.
