
Today has been a difficult day for the Yale community. Yale Schools has coordinated with multiple counseling agencies to provide opportunities for students and/or adults who might feel the need to talk. The high school cafeteria will be open tomorrow from 8am-noon or from 3-7pm for anyone who would like to visit with a counselor, preacher or be together with friends.

This week starts YPS 's testing schedule for 3rd-8th grade students and our 11th-grade students. Here are some helpful hints for a successful and stress-free time:
- be in attendance on scheduled state dates (make-up dates are scheduled as needed)
- be well rested the day of the test (go to bed early or on time)
- wake up with enough time to eat a healthy, hearty breakfast and not be rushed to get to school
- be on time (if a student is late, they may not be able to start testing with their class.)
- start the morning with positive encouragement for your student
