On Dr. Seuss's Birthday it has been a tradition for community members to come into our classrooms and read to our students. This year may be different but it didn't mean our students would miss out. We had so many volunteer readers "come in" to our classrooms via Google meet, which made it just as successful as years past. Thank you to Marshall Timmons, Brian Porter, Toni Winterbottom, Nancy Griffin, Allie Hammons, and Shannon Bush!

FFA Blue and Gold orders should be delivered to the school next week. Once delivered orders will be dispersed as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding and support of Yale FFA.

First, let me say thank you to every employee, parent, and community member who has endured not only a pandemic this year, but now an unprecedented Polar Vortex winter storm for the ages as well. With more snow predicted Tuesday afternoon/evening and wind chills well below freezing the rest of the week, it is looking as though the safest course of action is going to be for Yale Public Schools to plan on conducting virtual learning (to the extend possible) Tuesday-Thursday of this week. No school was scheduled for Friday due to Parent-Teacher Conferences (which are being pushed back a week). I know that none of this is ideal for anyone, but I want everyone to know that YPS is trying to do the best we can to keep everyone safe while facing these very adverse conditions. Thank you, again, for your patience and grace. We appreciate it. Stay safe and stay warm!

Yale Superintendent

The high school boys basketball team will face off against Garber tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 in Garber.

Yale Schools will continue distance learning into Friday, Feb. 11. If you have the capability, please check Google Classroom or Seesaw for virtual work. Teachers can help with questions, assignments, and technology. We hope that everyone is safe and staying warm!
