High school boys basketball is selling t-shirts for the upcoming season. We'd appreciate your support. If interested in purchasing a shirt, please contact one of the players or Coach Kennedy at the high school. Orders are due by Thursday, November 14.
Congratulations to Mrs. Cox, McKenzi Potter, Candice Blaylock, Kinzey Ballard, and Keely Rogers. They attend a math contest at the University of Oklahoma yesterday. Over 90 schools competed and our team finished in the top third. Great job ladies!

Please join the students and staff of YPS on November 11, 2019 in the Homer Ray Gym at 9:00 a.m. to recognize and honor our veterans. Please share with all local veterans. We want to show them our appreciation for their service.
Mrs. Thurman and Mrs. Neuway partnered with Texas Roadhouse for a special Veteran's Day project. Students wrote a thank you note for those who've served in the arm forces.
Congratulations to the 5th & 6th Boys Basketball team! They won 3rd at the Ripley Tournament last week, and tonight they won the Championship at the Keystone Festival. #excellencehappenshere

Tonight’s football game with Olive is at Olive High School.
Local churches and businesses came together to purchase books for all our our first and fourth grade classes. Yesterday some of those representatives come to our school to hand each student a book to take home. We have such a generous community supporting our schools.
Some questions have been asked about students wearing Halloween costumes to school next week. Students in grades 6-12 are not allowed to wear costumes to school.
