This year our teachers will be using Google Classroom to support student learning. It can be a great resource and allows parents to see what students are learning and doing in class. Please watch this video to learn more about this amazing resource. https://youtu.be/IgS-hoSIjnw

Yale JH/HS is excited to welcome our students back to the building tomorrow morning. We want to make sure that students in grades 6-12 know to wear a face covering, bring their own water bottles or cups with screw on lids, all students must have their temperature taken before entering the building, and that the tardy bell rings at 7:50 in the morning. Let’s make the most of our opportunities!!

Yale Elementary - We are so excited for school to start tomorrow. While there are lots of changes, we are trying to make adjustments for an enjoyable school year. At this time, only staff and students will be allowed into the building, even with a mask we are asking that parents do not enter the building in the morning. We understand that this will be more difficult for Pre-K and K students, so we have opened those outside classroom doors to allow parents to "walk them to class." Unfortunately, we are unable to provide that for all other classes, so 1st-5th grade students must enter through the gym doors. Please feel free to walk them to that outside door. Take a look at our map for a helpful guide for drop-offs in the morning. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Tonight, the YPS Board of Education voted to require all employees and all students in grades 4th-12th to wear facecovers during school. This was not an easily made decision. Much debate and deliberation occured; however, we believe this is the safest way to return to in-person instruction. It is important for the school and community to work hand-in-hand as we send our children back to school.
