A big thank you to the Stillwater Rotary Club for their generous donation of food sacks for our Yale students! We are so grateful for your continued support—it truly makes a difference in the lives of our students. Starting in January, these food sacks will be available at the end of every week to help ensure our students have the nourishment they need. We will also have food sacks available this Thursday before we let out for break. If you need a food sack over the break, please contact Tammy Huff at thuff@yale.k12.ok.us, and she will make arrangements to meet you. Thank you again, Stillwater Rotary Club, for helping make the holidays and every day a little brighter for our students! #StillwaterRotaryClub #CommunitySupport #Grateful #YalePride

The Junior class will host a silent auction at the homecoming game tomorrow night. Auction items will be displayed in the gym lobby, and winners will be announced at the start of the 4th quarter of the girls' game. You must be present to win. Additionally, students will participate in a halftime activity where they try to make a half-court shot to win a 1-liter bottle of pop. Tickets for the activity are $1 each, and you can buy as many as you like. The activity will take place during both the girls' and boys' halftime.

YPS is excited to announce that we will be partnering with Central Tech in the 25-26 school year to provide our 7th and 8th grade students a new program. The Explorer program is a new course offered through Central Tech, but held here at Yale Schools.  The course will be part of our daily class schedule. Central Tech will send an instructor to work with our students. The course will focus on career explorations. This is a great opportunity for Yale Public Schools and our students.  I would like to thank Mr. Burris and Ms. Overton from Central Tech for providing this opportunity for YPS. I would also like to thank Ms. Griffin for her work in bringing the program to Yale.
