A big thank you to the Stillwater Rotary Club for their generous donation of food sacks for our Yale students! We are so grateful for your continued support—it truly makes a difference in the lives of our students.
Starting in January, these food sacks will be available at the end of every week to help ensure our students have the nourishment they need. We will also have food sacks available this Thursday before we let out for break.
If you need a food sack over the break, please contact Tammy Huff at thuff@yale.k12.ok.us, and she will make arrangements to meet you.

BASKETBALL -Thursday’s JH high games at Ripley; 7/8 girls will play first at noon, followed by the 7/8 boys then the 5/6 girls and finally 5/6 boys.
The Junior class will host a silent auction at the homecoming game tomorrow night. Auction items will be displayed in the gym lobby, and winners will be announced at the start of the 4th quarter of the girls' game. You must be present to win. Additionally, students will participate in a halftime activity where they try to make a half-court shot to win a 1-liter bottle of pop. Tickets for the activity are $1 each, and you can buy as many as you like. The activity will take place during both the girls' and boys' halftime.

Just a reminder during basketball season- no outside food or drink is permitted to be brought into the gym. Students must be accompanied by their parent when leaving the gym; otherwise they will not be allowed to re-enter.

Basketball homecoming will be held December 17th, 2024. Homecoming Coronation starts at 5:30, boys will play 6:00 followed by the girls game.
This year's Muffins with Ma'ams was our biggest turn out so far! We loved having all our ma'ams in the building. We look forward to having our dudes in the building on Monday, Dec. 16!

It is now a State requirement for all seniors to fill out the FAFSA form in
order to graduate from High School. Mrs. Griffin will be hosting a FAFSA
night at the High School Library on December 9th from 5pm-
7pm for all students and parents needing help completing this form. To
complete the form you will need the following information.
Your parents’ SSNs if they have SSNs and you're a dependent student
Tax returns
Records of child support received
Current balances of cash, savings, and checking accounts
Net worth of investments, businesses, and farms
*If you do not have this information you will not be able to complete the
form. For more information on opting out of completing the FAFSA form

YPS is excited to announce that we will be partnering with Central Tech in the 25-26 school year to provide our 7th and 8th grade students a new program. The Explorer program is a new course offered through Central Tech, but held here at Yale Schools.
The course will be part of our daily class schedule. Central Tech will send an instructor to work with our students. The course will focus on career explorations. This is a great opportunity for Yale Public Schools and our students.
I would like to thank Mr. Burris and Ms. Overton from Central Tech for providing this opportunity for YPS. I would also like to thank Ms. Griffin for her work in bringing the program to Yale.
