Due to the road conditions we will not have cheer tryouts today. We will move them to next week.

All tryout dates will be at the elementary gym. If students need to ride the bus to the elementary, they can do that. I will be there.

The high school boy’s basketball game has been moved to Friday. The game will still be at 2:30 at Porter Consolidated Schools.
Due to the weather conditions, YPS will use a snow day Wednesday, February 19. We hope everyone is safe and warm.
Due to the possibility of inclement weather, YPS will be virtual Tuesday, February 18.
The town hall meeting will be rescheduled for Tuesday, February 25 at 6:00 pm in Homer Ray Gymnasium.
Due to the possibility of a winter storm moving in next week, YPS will hold in-person classes on Monday, February 17.
We all know that Oklahoma weather is difficult to predict and this can make planning very difficult. We do not know how many days could be impacted by the winter storm or what the spring season will hold as we move through the year.
For this reason, virtual packets will go home with students on Monday. If school is closed for more than one day, we have a couple snow days that could be used if needed. Teachers will be expected to hold Google Meets in order to check in with students and help guide instruction.
We will continue to monitor the weather and keep you informed about how we will proceed.

Due to the possibility of refreezing overnight and some county roads remaining slick, Yale Public Schools will be virtual on Thursday, February 13.
Valentine’s parties will be rescheduled for next week at the elementary.
Parent-teacher conferences will be rescheduled for Thursday, February 20 from 3:00-7:00.
Following our virtual day tomorrow, YPS is scheduled to be out of school on Friday, February 14 and Monday, February 17. School will resume as regularly scheduled on Tuesday, February 18.
Due to the possibility of wintry weather and potentially slick road conditions, Yale Public Schools will be virtual tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12.
YPS is keeping an eye on the wintry weather forecast for early tomorrow morning. As a precaution, packets are being sent home with students today. If the packets are not needed, please return them with your students on Wednesday.

School leaders, architects, construction managers, and the bond company will all be present. Please make plans to attend with any questions that you might have.
