Dear Parents/Guardians of YES 5th Grade Students,
In an attempt to offer new electives for our 5th grade students, we are going to try something a little different. Starting this school year, all 5th graders will start their day in the old gym at the high school. Students that ride a bus in the morning will be dropped off at the JH/HS and car riders can be dropped off right in front of the old gym. From here, our 5/6th grade students will rotate daily between band/music and PE/basketball. At the end of that period, our 5th grade students will have an opportunity to eat breakfast before a bus will shuttle them back to the elementary for the rest of their day. For questions or concerns, reach out to Mr. Kennedy at rkennedy@yale.k12.ok.us or stop in at Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 15 from 6:00-7:30.
Yale Junior High and High School students will have the opportunity to visit with Mr. Baker about their class schedules on the following days from 8:30-2:00.
Tuesday, August 1- 12th grade
Wednesday, August 2- 11th grade
Thursday, August 3- 10th grade
Monday- August 7- 9th grade
Tuesday, August 8- 7-8th grade
6th grade students will be able to pickup their class schedules at Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 15 from 6:00-7:30.

High school volleyball will hold a meeting on Thursday, July 20 at 8:00am in the new gym for anyone interested in playing. Practice will begin on Monday, July 24. Practice and game schedules will be available at the meeting. A sports physical is required before a player can begin practicing.

The opportunity for free athletic physicals is ending at noon today. Come by the high school, we have the form for you. This opportunity is open to all Yale students.
Just a reminder about free athletic physicals being available tomorrow morning from 8-12 at the high school. The parent side of the physical form must be completed and signed before the doctor can perform the physical. HS basketball boys will need to have their physicals done from 8-9 so they can get to their games in Oilton.
The summer pride schedule for the boys has been altered just a little bit. Coach Moore will run summer pride at the fieldhouse on the following days and times in June. Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 5-7 AM. This will be available to all 7-12th grade boys.
