Yale Elementary School was grateful for a visit from Representative John Talley. YPS was recently awarded a $15,000 TSET grant to improve our elementary playground area. Mr. Talley came out to take a tour of the elementary school and visit with some of our students and staff.

Yale Public Schools would like to thank the Oklahoma State Department of Education for the Donoschoose grant opportunity. Collectively, our teachers were awarded over $10,500 in classroom resources and materials that will benefit our students.
Our Kindergarten classes would like to thank Mistie Coffman and Jim and Diane Fleener for sponsoring the October book of the month. We love seeing our students get excited for reading!


Tomorrow morning the Juniors and Seniors will have the opportunity to attend a college fair in Perkins. This event is being put on by the Iowa Tribe. The bus will leave at 10:30 and should return by 2:30. Students are being given permission forms today for parents to sign.

All seniors that participate in winter and spring extra-curricular activities are encouraged to attend a photo shoot on Friday, Nov. 4 at 6:30 in the new gym. The student/family is responsible for purchasing the senior banners that will be displayed at home events and then given to the student at the conclusion of the year. Banners will cost approximately $45. If other grade level students wish to attend, they are welcome to have their photo taken.
Due to possible storms Friday evening, the high school football game vs. Barnsdall has been moved to Thursday evening at 7:00 in Barnsdall.
This past weekend Brylee Low, a third grader at Yale Elementary, attended the Cowboy Regional Rodeo Association (CRRA) Royalty pageant in Ada. This pageant was judged on the following categories: speech, modeling, horsemanship, appearance, and an interview. Brylee was crowned the 2022-2023 princess. Brylee is looking forward to a busy and exciting year!
