Tonight, the YPS Board of Education voted to require all employees and all students in grades 4th-12th to wear facecovers during school. This was not an easily made decision. Much debate and deliberation occured; however, we believe this is the safest way to return to in-person instruction. It is important for the school and community to work hand-in-hand as we send our children back to school.

We hope that enrollment has gone smoothly for everyone! As the start day of school approaches and your family has made the decision on what school will look like for you: tradition or virtual, please enroll online for either option. Once enrolled , contact Mr. Kennedy via email : rkennedy@yale.k12.ok.us to let him know if your 6th-12th grade student has choosen to go virtual. If your student is in grades PK- 5th and decided to use our virtual platform, please contact Mrs. Nickell via email: enickell@yale.k12.ok.us. As always, we can answer any questions you may have by reaching out to us.

A lunch application and letter, along with a self addressed envelope is being mailed out today and tomorrow (July 30, 31, 2020). Please complete the lunch application and return to the Central office located in the high school. You may complete the application online, but will need to print and bring to school.

ENROLLMENT UPDATE: Our online enrollment was scheduled to open today, however our provider, Gateway, is having some technical issues and we are delaying sending out our enrollment link. We have been in communication and working on correcting the issue. We hope to have it resolved soon and will be sending sending out the link when that happens.
