HS students: the winter semiformal dance is Saturday, Dec. 7 from 7-10 PM in the cafeteria. Price is $7 for an individual and $10 for a couple. To bring an out-of-town guest, you must turn in a form to the main office by Dec. 3 (see Ms. Jordan or Ms. Peterman for a form).

High school boys basketball is selling t-shirts for the upcoming season. We'd appreciate your support. If interested in purchasing a shirt, please contact one of the players or Coach Kennedy at the high school. Orders are due by Thursday, November 14.


Congratulations to Mrs. Cox, McKenzi Potter, Candice Blaylock, Kinzey Ballard, and Keely Rogers. They attend a math contest at the University of Oklahoma yesterday. Over 90 schools competed and our team finished in the top third. Great job ladies!

Mrs. Thurman and Mrs. Neuway partnered with Texas Roadhouse for a special Veteran's Day project. Students wrote a thank you note for those who've served in the arm forces.

Please join the students and staff of YPS on November 11, 2019 in the Homer Ray Gym at 9:00 a.m. to recognize and honor our veterans. Please share with all local veterans. We want to show them our appreciation for their service.
