On Monday, Mrs. Carter spent time with our local 4-H club sharing her equine expertise. Mrs. Carter teaches many of our high school science classes including Equine Science.



Yale Elementary - Mrs. Chestnut applied and received a grant for her fourth grade class! It was a million dollar partnership between Clorox and #Clearthelist Foundation where 2,000 teachers across the nation received $500 for their classroom. Here are some of the curriculum items that our students will use this year!

I was informed today, Sunday, by the Payne County Health Department that YPS has had a 6th-grade student test positive for COVID-19. The student who tested positive was exposed over Labor Day weekend and came to school on Tuesday. However, that student has been in quarantine since then while waiting for test results. Yale Elementary - Ms. Ballard and Ms. Creech have teamed up to work on Bucket Fillers. Our kindergarten class is working on giving compliments and spreading good feelings to others without being asked or prompted. It helps all grow in kindness, self-control, resilience, and forgiveness, all leading to a happier life!
High school football tonight at Coyle. Game starts at 7:00. Fans are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings and socially distance. Spectators are also encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs for seating.
CAP & GOWN, CLASS RING INFORMATION
9-18-20 Jostens will be here at 9am to visit with the seniors about cap & gowns as well as anyone wanting to order a class rings.
9-24-20 Jostens will be here from 4-6pm @ the school during parent/teacher conference night to take orders for cap & gowns, and class rings. All seniors must order a cap & gown.
