Valedictorians and Salutatorians from our 2019-2020 Fifth Grade class were recognized today. With so many restrictions on assemblies and large groups, we still wanted to take time to honor these students who have earned academic excellence during their time in our elementary school.

Ms. Cox's geometry students used plastic bags to design and create various objects like quilts, jump ropes, and throw rugs. Students were studying proportions and percentages.

Our 7-12th grade band has been exposed to a person that has tested positive for Covid. We are asking all wind instrument players to remain at home tomorrow while we further investigate possible contacts. We hope to have more definite answers by the end of the school day tomorrow. Yale Public Schools is communicating with parents of students who will be juniors during the 2020-21 school year.
Our school district plans to administer the ACT® test in spring 2021 to eligible juniors as part of the state contract with the Oklahoma State Department of Education and ACT.

As it get colder, we are no longer going to prop our gym, PreK and Kindergarten doors open in the morning. We want to keep the gym and classrooms warm for our students. The doors will be unlocked at 7:30 am and locked at 7:50 am. If you are arriving after 7:50 am, please drop your student(s) off at the front doors. If the doors are locked, please do not knock to have them opened. Thank you!
